El proyecto “Contenedores Azules” es también un proyecto de experimentación e innovación educativa en el ámbito de la formación profesional. Los alumnos aprenden de forma colaborativa y con tecnologías propias de la arquitectura avanzada y la construcción 4.0, tales como el BIM (Building Information Modeling), la impresión 3D, la realidad virtual y la realidad aumentada.
Esta experiencia comenzó en el CFGS de Proyectos de Edificación con el objetivo de mejorar el aprendizaje de los alumnos con “la emoción” de saber que su trabajo en el aula producirá un impacto positivo en la sociedad. La idea de partida es utilizar la metodología ABP (Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos) transformando el aula en un “estudio de arquitectura” real donde desarrollar proyectos reales a partir de encargos externos y con posibilidad de llevarlos a cabo. En los últimos cursos se han realizado multitud de proyectos, destacando una escuela en Senegal, la reforma energética de la fachada del Instituto Provençana y el proyecto “Contenedores Azules”.
Los principales objetivos de esta experiencia son:
Los alumnos en una etapa inicial, buscaron información relevante sobre tipologías de contenedores y dimensiones, características funcionales y técnicas, posibles formas de agrupación, así como los requerimientos de arquitectura bioclimática que tendrían que cumplir los edificios para albergar viviendas sociales, considerando su ubicación y clima.
Por otro lado, pretendemos que tanto las diferentes etapas de las fases de proyecto como las de construcción del prototipo, se puedan hacer conjuntamente con profesores y alumnos de otros centros educativos, con especialidades como por ejemplo electricidad, energía solar fotovoltaica, fontanería, construcciones metálicas, carpintería o pintura. También contemplamos la posibilidad de crear relaciones de intercambio de experiencias y conocimiento con las diferentes entidades, empresas y centros de formación a través de IES- MED
